Online Productivity Tools

It's possible over time online tools may replace software like MS Office. Since online tools are free and easy to use and basically perform the same things as bought software. Once people realize there are online tools like these they will feel there is no need to purchase expensive software.

Twitter

I think Twitter is great for those who love to chat and socialize constantly. Especially since tweeting consists of a few words or short sentence. I searched a few words to see what kind of results I would get. Not exactly what I thought it would be.

Easy to Navigate?

I did find it very easy to navigate in Library thing. I really enjoyed the tour and the helpful hints. I love the whole concept of it. What a great idea. The only thing I had a hard time with was the Wish List. I wasn't able to find the section where I can add the books that I would like to read.

Flickr/You Tube User Friendly?

I've tried out Flickr for the first time and I found it extremely user friendly. It guides you step by step on how to do things in plain english. You Tube I've used before, also user friendly.

Setting up RSS Feeds

I was able to set up my RSS feeds. I found it difficult to find websites (that I often view) with RSS feeds available. Once, I find websites with the RSS feeds it probably would be more convenient for me.

Google Universe

I love google products. Especially the search products how it allows use to search and find things on your desktop or look at the earth from your computer. I've played with alot of the products and did not realize before how conveniently available they are on Google. So far, I like all the products. I would recommend these products to friends and collegues.

Why social Networking sites are so popular.

I think social networking sites are so popular because first people just love talking with each other. It's a fun way for people to keep in touch and interact with each other and inform friends of what is going on. I think the main appeal factor is you can post pics and see what friends have posted.

Articles that needed editing

I found most articles I viewed to be quite accurate in the information posted. There was the odd spelling or grammar mistake. But overall, accurate. Also, it is peoples opinions that their posting.

Yippie!!!

Ok, I figured out how to minimize the pixel size to post my drawings. Anyway, this is one of my drawings I had drawn many many years ago. I amuse my self with the somewhat distorted body shapes like an over exagerated hour glass. But its all about the clothes. :) I have a little over 200 fashion drawings. Unfortunately, I have stopped drawing a few years ago. :( I will post a few more in a bit.

Advantages/disadvantages of Delicious

Still learning Delicious and figuring out what it can do.Being able to access your bookmarks from any computer is beneficial. You can sort and find bookmarks easier especially with tagging. Disadvantages; still trying to find it.

Why? Answered

Ok, figured out why I was not able to post my picture to my blog like mentioned previously. My picture is 22 MB. The maximum picture size that can be posted is 8 MB. Something else I learned. .Goodstuff.

Why???

Why? Why? Why, can't I attach my drawing photo? Why? I tried it like five times already and can not seem to post my picture. At least I was able to scan the drawing to my pc. Thats a start I guess. I will post my picture to my blog....maybe not tonight....but someday. I will figure it out........eventually.

Winners here I come!

Went to Signal Hill Winners tonight with my sister. We found alot of stuff for her. What a great selection of spring clothes. Huge variety of purses; so many colors and styles. It's always fun to have a variety of colors to match your wardrobe. More the merrier I always say. I also helped her find belts and scarves to add to her collection.

Spring Colors

Springs colors are bright and cheerful. Yellow and coral are big this season. Have fun with these two; mix and match with purples and pinks. Dare to wear bright bright colors this spring and summer.

Gone Shopping.......Yippie!

Had a day off; went shopping. Super fun and relaxing. Spring items in stores now. :-)

What I hope to learn from CPL 2.0

I hope to learn the networking technologies that are being used. I have never blogged, tweeted or face booked before so I would like to become more familiar with these social networking strategies. This is a good opportunity to educate myself on the various ways of social networking. If anything, I will learn the basics to these, but hope to learn more than just that. By the end of this training I will look back at my achievements and say " I made this........WOW".
